Principles for text reproduction
All the letters in the archive have been transcribed as they appear in the original documents. Thus, outdated spellings as well as any misspellings and grammatical errors have been preserved in the transcriptions. However, Olivia Holm-Møller’s practice of adding a horizontal line above her ‘u’s is not reproduced in the transcription. Holm-Møller did not always distinguish between lower- and uppercase letters after a full stop, which has been maintained in the transcription. She also capitalized nouns but changed this practice in accordance with the Danish spelling reform.
Illegible words are marked with the word ‘ulæseligt’ (Danish for ‘illegible’) in square brackets: [ulæseligt]. Suggestions for illegible words have been added in square brackets with a question mark: [word?]. Deletions in the form of crossed-out words have generally been left out, but where the crossed-out words were legible, they have been included with a line through the letters.
If a document was damaged, this is mentioned in square brackets: papir mangler. Page breaks are not indicated in the text.
